New Members’ Evening 2012

We welcome new members at any time, but we are having a special new members’ evening on Wednesday 19 September at 8pm, at the Secular Hall, Humberstone GateThis will be a chance to listen to a few songs from our repertoire and begin to learn and join in with them too. We are an open-access choir – there are no auditions, and you don’t have to be able to read music. If you’re interested in singing songs for positive political change with friendly people, please come along!

Preparing for Bury

After a pretty busy few months, we have a bit of a lull now until our performance at the National Street Choirs Festival in Bury in July (except those of us who are organising or singing in Leicester Sing for Water!). We had a great time singing at the CND/Amnesty event at The Red Tent, and are now looking forward to polishing our repertoire for Bury!
