7.30 pm – 10.30 pm

The Street Choirs Festival will be hosting an evening entertainment in Curve main auditorium featuring local artists.

Currently, we have the following artistes appearing:

• Toby Campion – performance poet
• Ishi Khan-Jackson – comedian
• Nupur Arts – Bollywood Dancers
• Kaviraj Singh – Indian musician plus tabla player
• Mellow Baku – singer/songwriter
• Contrast Steel Orchestra – steel pan band
• The Simpletones – barbershop/a cappella quartet

• John Constantine – will be performing ‘socialist magic’ in the cafe and bar areas of Curve throughout the evening.

Morris dancers will be performing outside in Orton Square

And from 10.30pm – 11.30pm

Relaxing and dancing in the Studio to the music of the Afro City Swingsters

Red Leicester Choir will be holding a fundraiser for Leicester Friends of Bethlehem, an organisation that creates links between Leicester and Bethlehem and supports Palestinian arts groups, with plenty of singing and lively dancing to Greenshoots Ceilidh Orchestra. There will be a licensed bar and delicious food available at low cost, and it promises to be a rollicking evening as usual!
