Preparing for Bury

After a pretty busy few months, we have a bit of a lull now until our performance at the National Street Choirs Festival in Bury in July (except those of us who are organising or singing in Leicester Sing for Water!). We had a great time singing at the CND/Amnesty event at The Red Tent, and are now looking forward to polishing our repertoire for Bury!

City of Sanctuary May Fair

On Saturday the 5th of May, Leicester City of Sanctuary (with Refugee Action) will be holding a fair at the Quaker Meeting House on Queens Rd to raise money to support refugees and asylum seekers in Leicester. There will be food, live music (including us, at 1pm!) and a variety of stalls. It looks like it might not actually be raining, so please come along to show your support!

Saturday 5th May, 11am – 4pm, Quaker Meeting House, Queens Rd.
