Street Choirs Festival 2019


The 2019 Street Choirs Festival will run from Friday 12th July until Sunday 14th July in Manchester and is organised by Manchester Community Choir. More detailed information about the event can be found on the Festival website and on Facebook.

Festival venue

The Festival will be based at the Royal Northern College of Music.


Red Leicester has now registered as a choir for SCF 2019.

Individual singer registration is now open: to register, click here. This will cost £40 plus £1.95 admin. fee (there are a number of free registration places for anyone on means-tested benefits for which they can apply in confidence by emailing You can also order Friday night concert tickets, T-shirts and Sunday picnics whilst registering.

Once you have registered individually, you will be able to access the Singers area of the website to find out about other registered choirs, learning resources, including the Massed Sing songs, timings of the festival, mobility/access advice, homestay details and other useful information.

April 2019: workshop registration opens.


Manchester Community Choir has reserved rooms in student accommodation run by Liberty Living very close to the RNCM. These include a range of single and double rooms, all with en suite facilities and self-catering kitchens in 4-6 person units. Prices start at £50-£75 per person per night.
